What is new in Apogee StoreFront 7.1

Version 7.1 of Apogee StoreFront, ECO3's web-to-print ecommerce solution, will be made available on January 18, 2026.

This new release adds support for the Worldline Direct online payment service. Worldline is a leading global payment gateway provider that is relied upon by thousands of webshops. The company acquired its French rival Ingenico in 2020.

  • Existing StoreFront users who previously used Ingenico to handle online purchases in their stores need to migrate to the new Worldline Direct Global Online Pay service.
  • Worldline Direct is also available to new StoreFront users. Detailed information on adding the service is available in the StoreFront Online Help.

For more information on Worldline Direct, visit the Worldline Direct documentation website.

Migrating to Worldline Direct for Ingenico users

A detailed step-by-step procedure for migrating to Worldline Direct will be sent to the StoreFront users who currently use Ingenico. Below is an overview of the steps that need to be taken:

  • In your Ingenico account, ensure the 'Merchant using Direct integration' option is enabled and that you have access to the email address specified in the administrative details.
  • Activate the Worldline portal by clicking the 'Try our new merchant portal' button at the top right of your screen.
  • Set a password and configure two-factor authentication.
  • In your new Worldline account:
    • Generate a Payment API key with API secret
    • Generate a Webhook key with Webhook secret and set the endpoint URL
    • Make the necessary branding adjustments to the payment page that StoreFront shoppers will be redirected to
    • Optionally select more payment methods that should be activated for the user on the payment page
  • In StoreCenter:
    • Create a new Wordline Payment method.
    • In your stores: uncheck the Ingenico Payment method and select the new Worldline Payment method.

Known issues and limitations

  • Worldline Direct supports almost 50 payment methods, including AMEX, Bancontact, Cartes Bancaires, Dankort, Discover, iDEAL, Maestro, Mastercard, UPI and Visa. The most frequently used StoreFront payment methods have been tested, but we cannot test them all. Make sure you validate payment methods before making them available within a store or check with your local ECO3 team or dealer whether your preferred payment methods have been tested.
  • When Additional Fees are enabled on the Store the total price is correctly sent to Worldline (the customer will pay the correct amount), but it is shown incorrectly in the Payment History in StoreCenter.
  • An error page is shown after a Worldline payment for an order that contains a Digital product.
  • The Order Export Excel file is missing a value for the Worldline Payment Type and Payment Reference.
