ECO3’s fountain solution increases productivity, quality and reliability at Geográfica

Because the previous fountain solution led to various different problems during print production, ECO3 was called in to help solve them.

A variety of complications were thus identified, such as build-up of paper particles in the blankets, which were repeatedly causing problems in the quality of printed texts, worn plates, sudden and unexpected printing interruptions, wasted paper, increased number of cleaning interventions to the machines, and many other consequences.

“With the enormous capacity of our team of specialists, we made a complete diagnosis of the process and, after that, we brought our fountain solution to the printer,” highlights Rodrigo Gomes, head of the chemical products department at ECO3 Brazil.

Just a few days after this change, the improvements and benefits of the product were already evident.
