Increased security
Ensuring online security and data confidentiality is critical for cloud solutions. Protecting customer files, job specifications, and business-critical data from unauthorized access is vital for PrintSphere users. For this new release, the entire PrintSphere platform received a complete overhaul, based on the latest hosting solutions and software technologies, aligned with recommended industry practices and validated through comprehensive security audits. We also added a virus scanner that validates all incoming data.
Changes to the web interface
Users who access PrintSphere using their browser will notice a few handy enhancements in the new release.
- There are more ways to filter data, based on the file type, owner, modification date or tags.
- There are additional options in the user profile to personalize the look and feel of the web client. If you prefer a different primary color or theme, you can now make this change.
- Uploading large groups of files has become easier with direct menu options under the 'New' button to upload files and folders from your device.
- To keep the user interface uncluttered, the Gallery view and option to create text files have been removed.
Create file request
Clicking the 'New' button now gives access to an option to create a file request.
When this option is selected, a wizard prompts you to specify which files you want to receive, where they should be stored, and who should receive the request. You can specify a submission deadline and set a password. PrintSphere then sends an email invitation to upload files.
Clicking the link takes the recipient or recipients to a PrintSphere folder to upload the requested data.
Updated mobile clients apps
The PrintSphere team did not wait for the 3.0 release to already give the iOS and Android clients a complete overhaul. Since these client applications update automatically, your users should already be using the latest versions.
